12/27/2010 0miles(update)

Due to some family resentments and problems that came up Christmas afternoon I am surfing the internet in My hotel room. I have kind of come to the conclusion that sence nobody wants to apologize or talk to each other I probably should leave. I haven't had family in My life for quite some time. I may yet end up back there for afew days, in the mean time I am combing; craigslist, the argus, and the shopping news, trying to find an economy apartment for Me. And even though I feel that My cycling is part of a well rounded life, with all the health stuff I have to do and moving I probably won't get My 30(stationary) miles in.
However I've been holding on to the little secret that I might not have been riding this summer anyway sense I've had nowhere to park My bike. So I'm hopeful that after this moving is all said and done I will somehow be able to afford the $500 dollars worth of repairs I want for My bike and will be on the trail this summer.

12/22/2010 0miles

Another snowstorm is closing in and I didn't even get all the stationary miles in I wanted to this month. With the holidays closing the health club I doubt I will, oh well at least I got one ride in.

12/13/2010 14miles

I rode the airdyne bike today, I saw a cyclist I know Todd haulin ass up 11th street,(in winter gear) must've been on a H.C. commute. I'm going to try to get that guy interested in My pseuto RAGBRAI team I'm working on with My friend Jamie. The ride was definanatly not as aggressive as some where I've logged 16 miles in the same amount of time. I keep the resistance pretty steady, however I was about ten whatts and eight RPM down from My usual caidence. Shows what taking a month off can do to You, glad to be riding again though.

Mini tour

I've had this idea for a ride out to Newton hills on My bike and camp and ride back,(self supported) I tried to get My friend interested. He never did though, to tell You the truth because of My crappy money situation I almost gave up on it.

However there are more local cyclists on hand here, it requires Me to get this 2 1/2 pole tent from REI. Anyone interested might have to buy a fair amount of gear. You could consiter it a recovery ride or whatever, for me it would be My first self supported tour.
I also went out and tried to get ahold of the latest copy of bike magazine,(the mountain bike magazine) which might not be here yet. Regardless its getting harder and harder to get here, I would subscribe but its tough when You can't afford anything in the thing.

12/8 0miles

This is the start of My new blog project which will follow My adventures on the bike this summer. As I haven't rode sence the 30 stationary miles I rode in October. To start off with I'm going to post some pictures.

My bike(project)
I logged 564 miles last summer before My wheels gave out notably from; lake alvin, Harrisburg, & Tea which was 46 miles. Which is My limit I think My bike looks about the same as it does in the photo except I added some clipless pedals. I've had tumultous relations with this bike I call Hahnoi Jane. Soon I'm planning on upgrading the wheels to 36 spoke, putting on a Chris King(sealed) headset, and getting some continental reflex contact tires, about $500 worth of upgrades.
Here's a picture of the Brandon sign from bike.

Here's a picture of Me when I was just starting to day tour.
