However it didn't have more advanced features like sealed bearings, and sence it was ten years old, even with the repacking I did it still was shot. Even though it had a really great frame design I ended up taking it to the landfill, I had the idea to get a amazing bike a GT force1 which was overkill. I found that with were I live and what I do, and not having alot of money to spend on service the best thing for Me to get would be a hardtail. Probably a trek consitering that I have a better relationship now with that shop, I'll get it eventually.

Ridgid, steel is real era
I'm kind of writing this to go along with My last piece, and also to show off that era two years ago when I was a Mountain biker. I still want to go back to riding mountain bikes as it My first love so to speak,(I just can't afford the equipment & service) I had a couple of bikes with preload forks which have always gone bad fairly quick on Me. One a schwinn sidewinder I managed to salvage with a strait fork off a cruiser style bike but it was still really heavy. I had another one which turned into a winter bike around that time I found that giant upland at a yardsale which was a great bike, not very low geared but You don't nessarily need that in this part of the state.
However it didn't have more advanced features like sealed bearings, and sence it was ten years old, even with the repacking I did it still was shot.
